Keep this open for all of us.

Every year, Girl Develop It hosts a virtual hackathon where hundreds of women and nonbinary adults come together to try something new, build real skills, and create something from scratch—often with people they’ve just met.

For many, it’s their first time stepping into tech. A place to experiment, ask questions, and realize: I can do this.

We’ve always kept it free—on purpose.
Because access matters.

But free doesn’t mean it’s free to run.

To make this year’s hackathon happen, we’re working to raise $10,000 by mid-October. That covers the people, tools, and support that make this experience possible—and keeps it open to anyone who wants to take part.

If this matters to you, here are a few ways to help:

Give what you can (even $10–$25 makes a difference)
Sponsor someone’s experience ($50)
Help us find sponsors (introduce us to your company or network)
Share this with someone who gets it

Every contribution helps keep this accessible—and helps more people find their way into tech.

Thank you for being part of this.
