Gearing Up for 2025: Help Us Raise $50,000 to Get More Kids on Bikes

Join us in the 2025 Gearing Up Campaign—a community-powered effort to raise $50,000 in support of Velo Kids' mission: to get every child on a bike.

This campaign goes beyond biking. It’s about building confidence, health, and joy in the lives of kids who might not otherwise have access to cycling opportunities. With your support, we can expand our programs, provide essential gear, and give kids a lifelong love of riding.

Gearing Up Goals – You Can Fund a Bike, a Helmet, or a Week of Bike Club

⛑️ Buy a Helmet – $50
Safety starts at the top! Sponsor one of 50 new helmets to be used in our “Shred Sheds” during every Velo Kids ride. Your gift helps make sure every child can ride confidently and safely.

🚲 Buy a Bike – $500
Help us purchase one of 50 new kid-sized mountain bikes for our 2025 school and community programs. At the end of the season, these bikes will be gifted to kids who’ve participated in our programs and don’t have a bike of their own—a lasting reward that gives them the freedom to ride long after the program ends.

🚴 Sponsor a Week of Bike Club – $1,000
Each Bike Club session costs $1,000 and includes four 1.5-hour sessions of skill-building, confidence-boosting, and adventure-seeking on bikes. Sponsor a full program or fund one week to help us bring biking to youth through our free programs in partnership with local organizations.
