Since 1987, the Interfaith Food Pantry has been serving families in the Blacksburg and McCoy communities with compassion and care. Operated entirely by volunteers, the Pantry relies on cash and food donations to meet the needs of local families.

What began as a small, one-day-a-week operation serving just 19 families has grown into a critical community food resource serving over 1,100 individuals each month. Today, the pantry's work is supported by faith communities, civic organizations, local businesses, individual donors, volunteers, and community partners who share a common belief that no one in our community should go hungry.

Our Mission The Interfaith Food Pantry exists to ensure that no one in our community goes hungry. We believe that access to food is a basic human right and that by working together, we can provide relief and dignity to those experiencing food insecurity.
