A makerspace is more than a collection of tools. It’s a place where a high school student can discover an interest in engineering, an intern can gain real-world experience, an entrepreneur can turn an idea into a prototype, a robotics team can design and build together, and adults and seniors can continue learning, creating, mentoring, and sharing their experience.

Monumental Impact brings these people together with the space, equipment, technology, mentorship, and hands-on opportunities they need to explore an idea and see where it can take them.

Your contribution to the Monumental Impact General Fund helps make all of that possible.

Why Give to the General Fund?

General Fund donations and sponsorships give Monumental Impact the flexibility to put resources where they are needed most. While some needs are easy to see—a new piece of equipment, robotics materials, or an internship—others are the everyday costs that make those opportunities possible in the first place.

Your support can help us:

Keep our makerspace open, equipped, safe, and accessible.
Provide tools, materials, technology, and workspace for learning and creating.
Connect members with mentors who can help them develop their skills and projects.
Provide internships and career-connected experiences for high school and college students.
Support entrepreneurship, product development, digital fabrication, AI and other emerging technologies.
Give robotics members opportunities to design, build, troubleshoot, collaborate, and compete.
Develop new programs and respond to opportunities and needs as they arise in our community.

Because the General Fund is flexible, your contribution can also help fill the gaps between programs and restricted funding. It gives us the ability to say “yes” when an opportunity arises and to invest in what will make the greatest difference for our members and community.

Give Where Your Impact Matters Most

Invest in a Community That Builds

Whether your contribution supports a new tool, keeps the doors open for another afternoon of making, helps an intern develop a new skill, or gives a team the materials they need to solve their next challenge, your support creates opportunities for people to learn from one another, build something meaningful, and discover what they can do.

When you give to the Monumental Impact General Fund, you aren't supporting just one program—you are helping sustain the community that makes all of our programs possible.
