Generation 1 in 5 Inc. was born from the frontline experiences of two dedicated forensic registered nurses, both served as sexual assault examiners. Serving victims of violence, they witnessed firsthand the heartbreaking reality: marginalized communities often face revictimization by the very systems meant to protect them. Recognizing that true healing requires the strength and unity of a supportive community, they founded Gen 1 in 5 to address these urgent needs.

Our mission is clear: to rewrite the statistics of mental health, domestic violence, and sexual assault for the next generation. We are committed to spreading awareness and effecting change through peer-to-peer support and education.
