GET YOUR WORD ON THE WALL!

We’re transforming the sport court at TeachMe with an original graffiti mural—and we want our community to help create it.

For $25, you can submit one word to be considered for the wall. Or, for $100, you can submit a phrase of up to 5 words.

Our goal is to raise $1,500, which represents 60 words for our wall!

Every word will help tell the story of the community we’re building at TeachMe,LB. We want this wall to be more than artwork—it will be a reflection of the people, families and community who make TeachMe what it is.

A few important details:

All submitted words and phrases will be reviewed and approved by TeachMe.
Our artist will have creative discretion over placement, size, style and how approved words and phrases are incorporated into the mural.

Our Story

In 2020, when the world shut down and students were forced to stay home and miss out on connection and community with each other, Liza and her husband Dave renovated their home to have a separate entrance and Liza began accepting, and teaching, students of various ages through foundational enrichment classes focusing on specific and intentional goals.

TeachMe,LB continued to evolve over the years to meet the wants and needs of the local community, and with the birth of Liza and Dave's son Micah, who has Down syndrome, the need for more space and more diverse offerings has increased.

As of December 12, 2025, TeachMe,LB is incorporated as a not-for-profit organization and a recognized 501(c)(3) public charity as of April 1, 2026. This transition reflects Liza and Dave's commitment to serving the community with integrity, transparency, and purpose, and allows TeachMe to pursue charitable support in order to expand and strengthen its programs.
