This season, with your help, 1,400 families will receive brand new winter coats and fully stocked backpacks.

This is the reality. We all feel the rising cost of living. What we don't always see are the quiet sacrifices families make behind closed doors.

The bills that go unpaid. The purchases that are postponed. And, the parents who go without so their children can have just enough.

Parents are wondering how they'll afford a winter coat that fits their growing child. Families are choosing between filling the refrigerator and filling a backpack with school supplies.

By sponsoring a child's winter coat, and fully stocked book bag, you're giving children the confidence to focus on learning, and parents peace of mind, knowing their child is warm. This means a parent will have one less impossible decision to make, and a child will walk into school feeling prepared, and proud.

Operation Warm distributes brand new winter coats at Get Ready Fest® Philly in 2025.

Give in August and support children and families through two of the Malcolm Jenkins Foundation’s signature programs.

Serving approximately 800 families, Get Ready Fest® brings together essential resources, including:

Brand-new coats, book bags, and school supplies
Fresh produce, groceries, and essential items
On-site health screenings and resources
Career resources & training information, and financial literacy access
Connections with trusted community organizations
Youth enrichment activities and family support services

Serving approximately 600 families, we make sure the families we serve know they are not alone. Each family receives:

Nutritious holiday meal baskets & groceries
Gifts for all children under 13 years of age
Seasonal essentials for the entire family
Personally delivered items and resources by community partners
