The cool October breeze carries the crisp scent of fallen leaves, but inside, the room glows with the warm, amber light of melting wax and flickering flames. Welcome to Ghouls Just Want to Have Fun, an evening where macabre chic meets cozy craft.

When the table transforms into an alchemist’s workshop, beakers of rich, molten soy wax steam softly alongside rows of potion-like bottles filled with a seasonal scent of spiced pumpkin. Laughter echoes over a soundtrack of retro Halloween music while guests roll up their sleeves, pick up their stirring rods, and prepare to pour a little magic.

The process begins with a vessel: matte black or haunting orange potion jars. After carefully securing a crackling wick to the base, it's time to blend the fragrance. A drop of dark amber for mystery, a splash of vanilla for warmth, and a pinch of cinnamon to stir together. Once the melted wax hits the ideal temperature, it’s slowly poured into the jar, releasing an intoxicating swirl of aromatic steam into the air.

By night’s end, everyone leaves with a hand-poured, scented candle ready to brighten up the spooky season—and a reminder that sometimes, ghouls just want to have fun.
