#SheBelongs is going to Copenhagen, Denmark — and we need your help to get our amazing players there!

#SheBelongs has been invited to represent the United States at the Girl Power International Football Summit, taking place September 24–27, 2026 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The Summit is organized by the Girl Power Organization and powered by the UEFA Foundation, and it brings together teams of young women from nine countries — Denmark, the UK, Germany, Portugal, Mexico, the USA, Canada, Spain, and Italy — for four days of football, friendship, and leadership.

This isn't a typical tournament. Every team is built to include players of refugee, ethnic minority, and migrant background alongside their teammates — which is exactly what #SheBelongs has been doing since we went to the Women's World Cup in 2023. We were founded on the belief that football (soccer) is the most effective way to connect humans with diverse life stories, open minds and hearts to possibilities and opportunities.

This special invitation is a chance to highlight our mission and celebrate these brave young change-makers on an international stage.

What the trip looks like—

Day 1 & 2: Depart USA and Arrive in Copenhagen
Day 3: Mixed training sessions with players from other countries, welcome dinner
Day 4: Continued training and mixed friendly matches
Day 5: A leadership summit focused on women in coaching and diversity in sport
Day 6: The tournament itself, followed by a cultural celebration and awards ceremony
Day 7: Return to USA

We're sending a team of 8 players and 2 coaches/leaders — women who are showing up for #SheBelongs, who welcome new teammates from all backgrounds, and who now get the chance to represent every girl, everywhere on the world stage.

Why we need your support—

Getting a team of 10 from Utah to Copenhagen and back — flights, lodging, meals, and ground transportation for six days — is a real investment. Our total goal is $35,000, which covers the full team's travel and participation so that no player is left behind due to cost. Every gift, big or small, moves us closer. And every player, coach, and leader is working hard to raise the $3,000 in funds to represent #SheBelongs and pursue their own growth journey.
