Her Story is a nonprofit prioritizing the mental health of teen girls, with a specific focus on developing protective factors, helping teens use their screen time more intentionally, and building healthier relationships with social media.

OUR WHY

Girls experience their lowest levels of self-confidence by the age of 14, and they're spending up to 5 hours a day on social media (nearly twice the amount linked to serious mental health harm). Girls are twice as likely as boys to experience clinical depression, and 1 in 2 girls say toxic beauty advice online is directly hurting their self-esteem. That loss of confidence has real consequences, including low body confidence being the number one reason girls quit sports. This intensifies the problem because sport is one of the most effective tools we have for girls' mental health. They're leaving the game at the exact moment they need it most.

HOW WE’RE DRIVING CHANGE

Girls In Sports, Mental Wellness and Social Media brings together 250 teen athletes, their parents, advocates and coaches for a day built around meaningful change, featuring keynote conversations with renowned women athletes, interactive workshops, and curated discussions, we're tackling mental wellness and social media head-on.

The goal is clear: equip girls with the tools they need to thrive both on and off the field, and keep them in sports for the long haul. Because when girls stay in the game, everything changes.
