Community Youth Services started out in 1969 as a small emergency shelter, founded by two women who saw young children from Ardmore being removed and taken to other areas of our state- thus losing touch with their home community and relationships, such a critical component of healing and hope!

Over the last 56+ years, CYS has grown to a multi-faceted organization providing not only emergency shelter, but counseling services, parenting classes, food and clothing pantries, school supplies, and independent living services- all at no cost to our community- ever.

We pride ourselves with staying true to our original mission, while expanding our activities to create community, instill hope, find healing, and get to the core of making a real difference- relationships.
