We would like to invite you to join Visual Art Institute in giving heART to the communities we live in. VAI is so much more than art classes! Our mission to foster and nurture goes well beyond our studio walls by providing scholarships to students who do not have the financial support to attend after-school art classes and by collaborating with other non-profit organizations to provide art opportunities to individuals with limited access. Your support can assist the next generation of artists explore, learn, and create.

Sara started taking classes at the Visual Art Institute when she was 13 years old. She attended Summer Figure Academy for 5 years, attending both sessions each summer. She attended Alta High School and graduated with honors in 2015.

Sara was awarded two talent-based scholarships to different art schools: School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC), and Pilchuck Glass School in Washington. She currently lives in Los Angeles, California and works full-time assisting a well-known glass artist and designer, Joe Cariati. She continues to develop her craft and is working to create her own cataglogue of work.
