For many adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), access to college-level education becomes limited after high school. Their desire to learn, explore new interests and develop their abilities doesn't end—but opportunities to continue their education often do.

College of Adaptive Arts is changing that.

We believe higher education should be accessible to adults of all abilities, throughout their lives. Since 2009, CAA has created a collegiate experience where adults with IDD can pursue their interests, develop new skills, discover their talents and build meaningful connections in an inclusive learning environment. Through 10 Schools of Study, student services, community experiences and workforce development, CAA is expanding what higher education looks like.

At CAA, learning is about more than what's taught in a classroom. It's about discovering new strengths, pursuing passions, building confidence and finding a community where every student is valued.
