The Giving Cup: A Bi-State Bonus Fund Showdown

For two exciting weeks, communities on both sides of the Mississippi River will come together for The Giving Cup: A Bi-State Bonus Fund Showdown. This is a high-energy fundraising campaign designed to inspire generosity, create momentum, and strengthen the impact of the Birdies for Charity Bonus Fund.

Representing Team Illinois or Team Iowa, donors will have the opportunity to showcase the incredible spirit of giving that defines our bi-state region. Every gift made during the campaign will count toward two important goals: increasing the overall Birdies for Charity Bonus Fund and contributing to your state's running total on the daily leaderboard.

Throughout the 14-day challenge, friendly competition will build as both states rally their communities, encourage participation, and compete for bragging rights as the most generous side of the river.

But while we may be competing across state lines, the true purpose of The Giving Cup extends far beyond the scoreboard. Every dollar raised helps grow the Birdies for Charity Bonus Fund, which provides the Bonus Match to the hundreds of participating nonprofits serving communities throughout our community. By strengthening the Bonus Fund, we increase the impact of every donation and help local organizations continue providing critical programs and services that improve lives across our region.

At the end of the challenge, one state may lift The Giving Cup, but the real victory belongs to our entire community.
