For families in our community, it also means leaving home. Children facing cancer must often travel to Louisville, Nashville, or Memphis for the specialized treatment they need.

That means long drives, missed work, meals on the road, overnight stays—and parents doing everything they can to remain by their child’s side while still keeping their family going back home.

This September, Journey Bags is proud to launch our new Go Gold Childhood Cancer Fund, created specifically to help children with cancer and the families caring for them.

Because when your child has cancer, being there shouldn’t come at the cost of keeping your family afloat.

The Go Gold Fund will help ease some of the practical and financial burdens these families face, allowing parents to focus more of their energy where it belongs: on their child.
