5 Years of Golden Galas

Five years ago, we hosted our very first Kickoff Fundraiser with one goal: raise startup funds for our brand-new rescue so we could start saving senior dogs.

We cooked the tacos ourselves, our family and friends became our volunteers, and some of our closest supporters stepped up as our very first sponsors. By the end of the night, we had raised over $4k+—and The Golden Bark Foundation was officially on its way.

Now, five years later, that little fundraiser has grown into our Annual Golden Gala for Golden Dogs.

The Golden Gala is our biggest fundraiser of the year, but it’s also a chance to stop and take in everything this community has made possible. To celebrate the happy retirements, remember the dogs we’ve had to say goodbye to, and honor every senior dog + human who has been part of our story.

We hope you'll join us for our 5th Annual Golden Gala! If you can't attend, you can still be part of the evening by making a donation, purchasing a ticket for a foster, our silent auction or opportunity baskets, or sponsoring the event!

We built this rescue from the ground up, but we never built it alone. Every dog we've welcomed, every vet bill, every foster home opened and every adoption has been possible because people like you chose to believe in this mission.
