Join Us: 2023 Goldmark Award Luncheon

Join us on February 17, 2023, for the 37th Annual Goldmark Award Luncheon being held virtually and in-person at the Westin Seattle.

Each year, the LFW Board of Trustees presents the Charles A. Goldmark Distinguished Service Award to an outstanding individual or organization that has advanced the cause of equal justice. This year, we’re pleased to honor Michele Storms, Executive Director at the American Civil Liberties Union, Washington State.

We will be joined by keynote speaker, Twyla Carter, the Chief Legal Officer and Chief Executive Officer of The Legal Aid Society of New York.

Please join fellow civil justice supporters who attend annually and celebrate our strides to advance equity and justice in Washington state.

Charles A. Goldmark Distinguished Service Award

Each year, the Legal Foundation of Washington hosts the Goldmark Award Luncheon to commemorate the legacy of Charles Goldmark, who established a more just, equitable legal aid system in Washington and was its second President. The legal aid network he shaped continues to improve the lives of thousands of low-income children and families daily in our state
