I’m running on April 20th in the 130th Boston Marathon to help raise awareness and support for children and families affected by PANS and PANDAS. Running has always been important to me, and this race feels like a meaningful way to support a cause I truly care about.

I first learned about PANS and PANDAS through a close family friend whose child experienced a sudden and frightening change in behavior. Like many families, they searched for answers before learning about PANS/PANDAS, and the support they received through the Look. Foundation made a real difference during an incredibly difficult time.

PANS and PANDAS are often misunderstood and underdiagnosed. Raising awareness can help children receive the care and support they need earlier.

Because I’ve lived with OCD and anxiety myself, this cause feels personal. I understand how overwhelming these challenges can be and how important it is for families to feel supported and believed.

Running this marathon is my way of giving back and supporting the Look. Foundation’s mission to bring hope and healing to struggling families.
