Community is the foundation of a healthy psychedelic ecosystem

The global psychedelic renaissance is underway, but one essential aspect has been overlooked and underfunded: psychedelic community. While top-down research and policy are advancing, grassroots networks are crucial to changing the cultural narrative and managing the "fallout" of legalized psychedelics. That's where Psychedelic Societies come in. Around the world, Psychedelic Societies meet regularly to provide peer education about psychedelics within their local communities.

Psychedelic Societies play a crucial role in several areas:

🤝 Community Building: Psychedelic Societies are more than a social club; they lay the foundation for a post-prohibition culture where safety, ethics, and personal development are prioritized.

When someone has a difficult psychedelic experience, Psychedelic Societies fill the gap left by the clinical establishment.

📖 Education: Psychedelic Societies provide public programming and an experienced community for those without experience to learn from.

👮 Policy Reform: Psychedelic Societies often play a pivotal role in local policy change, providing a first point of contact for local government and law enforcement.
