On March 4, 2001, Bethany Markowski vanished from Tennessee.

For nearly 25 years, her mother, Jonnie, has carried on an unrelenting fight for truth and awareness, not only for Bethany, but for every missing child whose story has faded from headlines but not from memory.

Through The Bethany Markowski Project, we’ve built a platform focused on truth, accountability, and action by organizing verified timelines, volunteer search coordination, and awareness for missing children.

Now, as we approach the 25th anniversary of Bethany’s disappearance, we’re ready to take the next step in our mission: Becoming an official nonprofit organization.

Our Goal: $3,000 by March 2026

Your donation will directly fund the steps required to incorporate and launch sustainable nonprofit programs.

Your donation will help us:

$800 – File and register as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Tennessee
$700 – Expand our website and digital resources for missing persons awareness and family support
$1,000 – Develop outreach materials for Tennessee Missing Children's Day events, free child fingerprinting kits, and community education
$500 – Support volunteer coordination, printing, and field search logistics

By reaching our goal by March 4, 2026, we’ll be ready to stand as a fully recognized nonprofit, and mark Bethany’s 25th year missing with renewed purpose.
