The reality is 1,764,000 LGBTQ+ youth are homeless, today.

This is an ongoing epidemic due to family rejection of gender identity, sexual orientation, or both. South Dakota, Wyoming, North Dakota, Nebraska, and Montana, there are few to no LGBTQ+ targeted shelters, rapid rehousing for those experiencing homelessness, counseling centers, or even community centers. There’s simply nothing to help the rural LGBTQ+ population, till we bring services to the area.
