The Great Texas Business Duck Challenge was created to celebrate the businesses, organizations, schools, churches, and community groups that make our communities stronger every day.

At first glance, it starts with a simple rubber duck but by the time the challenge is over, each duck has become something much more, a reflection of the people behind it. A business's personality. A nonprofit's mission. A school's pride. A church's heart. A community group's creativity.

No two ducks are ever alike.

Each year, participants transform an ordinary duck into an extraordinary work of art that tells their story. Some are funny. Some are artistic. Some are elaborate. Others are beautifully simple. Every duck represents the unique spirit of the organization that created it.

Throughout August, the community joins in by voting online for their favorite designs, cheering on local businesses and organizations while sharing the excitement with friends, family, and coworkers, but this challenge isn't really about winning.
