The Gift of Nourishment: A Grief Workshop with Mary Goddard

Join us for a hands-on gathering centered on nourishment, care, and connection.

Facilitated by Mary Goddard, a Tlingit artist and cultural educator from Yakutat, this gathering will explore simple ways we can care for ourselves and others during times of grief. When someone is grieving, preparing a meal can feel overwhelming—and even basic nourishment may fall to the bottom of the list.

Guided by Tlingit cultural values of caring for one another, participants will move through a series of stations to assemble a simple take-home meal kit. You may keep the meal for yourself or offer it to someone who could use a little extra care.

This gathering also serves as a gentle introduction to our Grief Retreat on October 10. It is a meaningful first step for anyone considering the retreat—or simply looking for a smaller, welcoming space to connect with others.

No prior experience is needed. Space is limited to 15 participants, so please register below to reserve your place.
