The Griff's Got Grit Foundation

Griff’s Got Grit is dedicated to supporting families facing pediatric organ failure and transplant journeys. This mission is deeply personal: our foundation was inspired by Griffin, who has shown extraordinary strength from the very beginning. Diagnosed with end-stage renal disease and Stage 5 vesicoureteral reflux, Griff has already undergone two surgeries, depends on daily life-sustaining dialysis, and is closely followed by specialized teams at Boston Children’s Hospital as he awaits a kidney transplant. Despite these immense daily challenges, Griffin remains a happy, joyful light, inspiring us every single day.

Living through the reality of pediatric chronic illness showed us firsthand the emotional, physical, and financial tolls families endure. The Griff’s Got Grit Foundation was created to turn our personal experiences into a lifeline for others. Whether we are adopting families for the holidays, providing essential resources, or easing the heavy burdens of frequent hospital stays, our mission is to ensure that no family ever has to walk this path alone.
