At our recent annual meeting in August, we had a difficult, yet necessary, conversation about how Heartstrings’ finances are rapidly approaching a breaking point. We've had to make hard decisions and compromises to keep our program alive.

A cornerstone of Heartstrings’ foundation is that we never want finances to keep a student from participating. This is of the utmost importance to us and our mission.

We believe in the talent of our students, in the passion of our teachers, and in the love of our community. Together, we've made ten incredible years of art. We've made something that matters. We're all fighting to keep making art, rehearsal after rehearsal, show after show.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, every tax-deductible dollar raised from this auction goes right back into making Heartstrings happen. Each raffle ticket you purchase funds another rehearsal for Junie B Jones in our own space, feeds our kids, and helps provide the scholarships that make sure all of us can keep making great art.
