The L'Arche NC community is facing a new challenge: recent North Carolina Medicaid rate cuts have reduced our annual funding by $34,977, directly impacting the care and support that make our shared life possible.

These state cuts come even before the anticipated federal reductions, making it more important than ever for us to stand together. This shortfall affects the essentials—assistant wages, nutritious meals, safe transportation, and the daily rhythms that turn a house into a home.

To fill the gap, we need to raise an extra $34,977 this year.
