In Ypsilanti, we believe food is something to be valued by all. It’s a way we care for each other, connect with our neighbors, and build a healthier community together.

At Growing Hope, we believe everyone deserves access to fresh, nourishing food and the knowledge to grow it. Through our urban farm, community gardens, farmers market, youth leadership programs, and incubator kitchen, we work alongside residents to build a local food system that is healthy, sustainable, and rooted in community.

Every season, this work touches hundreds of people across Ypsilanti and Washtenaw County families learning to grow their own food, youth developing leadership skills, and local entrepreneurs launching food businesses that reflect the culture and creativity of our community.

But this work only grows when the community grows with it.

That’s why the Growing Hope Board of Directors is launching a Giving Challenge.

We are inviting friends, family, and our networks to join us in supporting the programs that make this work possible.

Together, we’re working toward a shared goal: bringing more people into the movement to build a stronger local food system.

Every contribution large or small helps:

• Support youth leadership and education programs
• Expand community gardens and urban farming
• Strengthen the Ypsilanti Farmers Market
• Support local food entrepreneurs in our incubator kitchen and accelerator kitchen
