Join us for a special guided tour of the "Gunita at Salaysay" Exhibit at the Filipino Community Center, 3rd Floor Hallways on October 29 at 3:00 PM.

During the month long exhibition, guests are also encouraged to check out two (2) other existing panel displays at FilCom Center:

1. Singgalot "Ties that bind" commissioned by the Smithsonian Museum

2. Sentenaryo "100 years" commissioned by the Bishop Museum

Singgalot "Ties that bind" and Centenary "100 years" commemorates the 100 years of Filipino migration to the United States and to Hawaii, respectively while the new display, "Gunita at Salaysay" details forgotten stories of Filipinos in Hawai'i history.

The exhibition is staged in partnership between the Filipino Community Center and the Filipino-American Historical Society of Hawaii as part of the celebration of Filipino American History Month, and will run from October 4-30, 2025.
