GWK Academy's "Find Your Path to Parenthood Roadshow" brings our work on the road — creating in-person opportunities for LGBTQ+ people to learn, connect, and move forward with greater clarity on their path to parenthood.

We’re intentionally showing up in communities across the country — including cities that are often overlooked by major conferences and national events — because access to trusted family-building education shouldn’t depend on where you live.

Our events are designed to make family-building feel less overwhelming and more approachable. Through honest conversation, practical education, and community connection, we’ll help attendees better understand their options across adoption, foster care, surrogacy, IVF, donor conception, and more.

Whether you’re just beginning to explore parenthood or already deep in the process, this series is designed to meet you where you are.

No two paths to parenthood look exactly alike. Our goal is not to tell you which path is right for you — it’s to help you better understand your options so you can move forward with clarity and confidence, and to ensure you know that we're here to support you however needed along the way.

Why We Created The "Find Your Path to Parenthood Roadshow"

Too many LGBTQ+ people begin their path to parenthood feeling overwhelmed, underinformed, or unsure where to turn first. GWK Academy was created to change that. Each Roadshow event is our way of bringing trusted guidance directly to more communities — not just the ones that typically host large conferences or industry events — so more people have access to the information and support they need, wherever they are.

Registration

Our New Orleans kick-off event is part of the annual Queer Repro Fest, hosted in collaboration with a local partner organization — and is free to attend for all. Please register for the New Orleans event through their event page.
For all other Roadshow stops, click the blue “Donate & Tickets” button above and select the event in your community. When you view registration options, you’ll see a $0 ticket with a suggested $25 donation. We’ve intentionally made this flexible so cost is never a barrier to attending. If you’re able to contribute, your support helps fund GWK Academy’s mission to provide trusted education, guidance, and community for LGBTQ+ people across all paths to parenthood. Space may be limited depending on the venue, so early registration is encouraged.
