Event check-in opens at 4:00pm and dinner will begin at 5:00pm.

How can you prepare for the event? If you know of other couples who would benefit from the conference, they need to sign up ASAP as the event is likely going to reach capacity.

Secondly, come with the anticipation of being encouraged, coached and served. There will not be any small group interaction. This is a conference for two: you and your spouse.

For marketing purposes, you may be captured on video or in photos. However, if you indicated on your registration form that you desire to remain off camera, we will ensure your anonymity. We will, however, have an opportunity for interviews for any couple desiring to comment on the impact of the event on their marriage. There is considerable buzz about this conference although we are keeping a low profile publicly to help ensure safety for the conference.

One of the questions we have been asked is "What is the follow-up to the conference?" We have developed an initial follow-up strategy to work in conjunction with others willing to give support and services post the event. We are encouraging first responder/military couples to host date nights across Iowa utilizing our online resources. Contact aaron@iaheroes.org for more details.
