Join K.A.V.A. Talks & PIK2AR for the 12th Annual Heels 2 Heal Walk For Domestic Violence. Show Support & Solidarity With Survivors of Domestic Violence. October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and PIK2AR & K.A.V.A. Talks Present a day dedicated to Survivors of Domestic Violence, allowing our Community to show solidarity with Survivors, participate in community awareness, and educating Community Members about the FACTS of Domestic Violence; From statistics, stories of SURVIVAL, and advocating for the direly needed changes in legislation that UTAH (specifically) needs, K.A.V.A. Talks makes a difference for Survivors, current Victims, and those who are not yet ready to flee their abusers, by educating Men (and Women) in the Community about Domestic Violence and Violence Prevention.

THEN, after the Heels 2 Heal Walk for Domestic Violence Awareness, join us after for International Taste of Salt Lake, which begins at 12 PM; Join Us For the rest of the day for Food, Fun, Culture, and Solidarity with Survivors of Domestic Violence AND our International Community in Salt Lake City, Utah.

International Taste of Salt Lake

International Taste of Salt Lake, presented by the Pacific Island Chamber of Commerce and LivingColorUtah, held a PREVIEW Event at the 2026 International Women's Day Event on March 6th, 2026. Event Attendees were able to sample different dishes and desserts from around the Globe, prepared by our fellow Sisters within our International Community in Salt Lake City, including Countries like India, Thailand, The Philippines, Samoa, and MORE.

NOW, join us on October 31st, 2026, for a FULL MENU TASTING EVENT prepared by International Taste of Salt Lake Participants, featuring our previous Event Contributors AND NEW Event Contributors, allowing Community Members to experience a TOUR OF TASTES from around the World- without having to purchase a plane ticket or apply for a passport!

Located within the International Peace Gardens, take a "Walk Around The World", and experience a FULL Menu Tasting that will stimulate the senses; See, Feel, Taste, Smell, and Experience an authentic Global Menu Tasting, while learning about NEW Cultures, and experiencing Cultural camaraderie.
