At The h3 Project, we are a passionate non-profit organization based in the heart of Washington DC. Our primary focus is on providing street outreach services to individuals experiencing homelessness and human trafficking. We firmly believe in the power of compassion, connection, and individualized support to make a lasting impact on the lives of those in need.

With an unwavering commitment to our mission, we dedicate 80% of our time directly on the streets, engaging with and assisting individuals who are facing these challenging circumstances. By immersing ourselves in the community, we gain a deeper understanding of the unique needs and struggles of our clients.

While we recognize the importance of administrative duties, we ensure that only 20% of our time is spent on these necessary tasks. This allows us to maximize our efforts on the ground, providing hands-on support to those who need it most.

One aspect that sets The h3 Project apart is our emphasis on quality over quantity. We pride ourselves on being a small but mighty organization that focuses on delivering impactful services to our clients. By taking this approach, we can tailor our interventions and support to meet the specific needs of each individual, ensuring a more personalized and effective approach.

Another key distinction is our independence from government funding. By not relying on government money, we have the freedom to operate outside the confines of bureaucratic rules and regulations. This enables us to be nimble and flexible in our approach, allowing us to adapt and innovate to best serve our clients.

We are incredibly grateful for the support we receive from our community partners, who generously sponsor and donate to our cause. Additionally, we heavily rely on the kindness and generosity of individuals within the community who believe in our mission. Their donations, big or small, make a significant impact and enable us to continue our vital work.

At The h3 Project, we firmly believe in meeting individuals where they are at, both figuratively and literally. We understand that everyone's journey is unique, and it is our aim to provide support on their terms. By working six days a week, Monday through Saturday, from 10:00 am to 8:30 pm, including holidays, we ensure that our services are accessible and available when they are needed most.

Our outreach coverage areas span across some of DC's key neighborhoods, including Union Station, NoMa BID, Downtown BID, Dupont Circle BID, and Mount Vernon Triangle CID. By strategically positioning ourselves in these areas, we can reach a wider range of individuals and make a meaningful difference in their lives.

The h3 Project is not just about providing immediate relief; we are mobilizing to end homelessness and human trafficking. We firmly believe that by addressing the root causes and systemic issues that perpetuate these challenges, we can create lasting change. Through advocacy, education, and collaboration with other organizations and stakeholders, we are working towards a future where everyone has access to safe and stable housing, free from the chains of exploitation.
