Over 350 people suffer from homelessness in Bergen County. There is one main shelter that supports these families and individuals. Hackensack Housing Health and Human Services Center relies heavily on donations of toiletry items such as soap, shampoo, razor blades, shaving cream, feminine hygiene products, and much more to support those who stay within their facility.

This year’s event will be held at The New Milford YMCA Program Center on December 3rd from 5:00-8:00 pm, which will invite the community to come out and enjoy a celebratory night of generosity with music, food, kids activities, and the giving spirit!

Attendees are encouraged to bring toiletries, new winter clothing, socks and underwear or food to support local organizations

HypeLite also works with students and staff at New Milford Schools to activate their school community in a fun and impactful service learning project that aligns with the globally recognized day of giving on December 3rd, known as, GivingTuesday.

Over the last 6 years, we have been able to donate thousands of toiletry items to help thousands of individuals in need through numerous organizations, churches, and shelters.

This event is held in memory of HypeLite co-founder and New Milford High School Alumnus, Alex Bridge who was a compassionate community service leader and Co-founder of HypeLite (the organization leading this initiative) who passed away tragically in 2013.
