The Jewish Teen Foundation of San Diego is a group of 45 high school students dedicated to developing leadership skills, deepening their understanding of Jewish values, and making a tangible impact through philanthropy. These teens are learning how to assess community needs, evaluate nonprofit organizations, and allocate grants in a thoughtful and effective manner. This year, they are conducting a Request for Proposals (RFP) process, inviting local, national, and international organizations to apply for funding. Applicants will demonstrate their alignment with the JTF mission and outline how additional funding will create a meaningful and measurable impact.

By engaging in this process, these young leaders are gaining real-world experience in strategic giving, reinforcing their commitment to tikkun olam (repairing the world), and shaping their identities as change-makers in the Jewish and global communities.
