ABOUT HOUSE THAT CRAFT BUILT:

For the first time since 2019, local breweries, cideries, and businesses are bringing their collaborative, community-orientated spirit to craft a partnership that will build a home and hope for a local, hardworking family. The banding together of our House that Craft Built partners to invest both financially and with volunteer time will help this local family build strength, stability and self-reliance through affordable homeownership.

A home will, “...mean everything to us - to have something we can pass down to our kids. They can see their parents did it and it will be a start to building generational wealth for my family.”

These are the words of Tanya Adams when asked what owning her own home will mean to her and her family. Like Tanya, the home and family for this year's House that Craft Built looks forward to opportunities their home will provide for their family and now and in the future!

In RVA, breweries, cideries, and distilleries along with Richmond Habitat are often seen coming into areas on the brink of revitalization, building up that neighborhood and helping it grow. We could not be more excited to continue to strengthen families and neighborhoods with the help of our House that Craft Built partners.
