Introducing Hadley's Vertical Challenge, a ski fundraiser taking place over President's Day Weekend 2027 — a weekend that would have included Hadley's 10th birthday on February 13. Every vertical foot skied will raise money for two incredible organizations: Hugs From Hadley and The Adaptive Sports Center.

For the kids who loved Hadley and wanted to do something — this is it. Skiing in her honor, raising money together, being part of a team: it's a way for you to show up for her in a way that would have made her smile.

The best part? You don't have to be in Crested Butte to participate. Ski from any mountain, track your vertical feet, and you're in.

Here's how the weekend looks:

Saturday, February 13 — Welcome breakfast, kids' scavenger hunt, and time on the slopes
Sunday, February 14 — More skiing, an après ski celebration, final leaderboard totals, and prizes

Participants register, build a personal fundraising page, and share it with friends and family. Most people sponsor skiers at about $1 per 1,000 vertical feet — a small amount that adds up in a big way. You can also join or create a team and recruit others to ski alongside you.
