Our fundraising goal is $5,000, and with dollar-for-dollar matching funds available, that could mean $10,000 for Hands4Hope!

🌴 We Can’t Sell It. We Can’t Leave It. Help Rescue Us! 🌴

Another Yoffie misadventure - all in support of Hands4Hope - Youth Making A Difference!

After barely escaping a mermaid’s spell, you’d think we would stay somewhere safe. But no.

This time, what started as a relaxing tropical getaway somehow took a very wrong turn, and we found ourselves lost deep in the jungle.

At first, we weren’t worried. We sell real estate - we know how to navigate unfamiliar territory. Surely we could find our way out.

We were wrong.

Our phones have no service. Our map is useless. We’re pretty sure we’ve been walking in circles, something keeps rustling in the bushes, and our only neighbor appears to be a nosy orangutan who has been keeping an eye on us while casually eating the landscaping.

From a real estate perspective? Jungle Island is a tough sell.

The location is extremely remote. The landscaping is wildly overgrown. There are some serious pest-control concerns, absolutely no nearby amenities, and access requires crossing a creek on foot. The tree canopy is lovely, the water feature is certainly a plus, and you can’t beat the privacy - but overall, we cannot recommend this property.

Unfortunately, we also can’t seem to leave it.

We need to raise $5,000 to make it off Jungle Island - and with $60,000 in dollar-for-dollar matching funds available, reaching our goal could mean $10,000 for Hands4Hope!

And while we would very much appreciate being rescued, there’s a reason we agreed to get ourselves stranded for Hands4Hope for a second year.

We believe in what Hands4Hope is doing for young people in our community. Youth aren't simply showing up to volunteer - they're learning how to recognize needs around them, step up, work together, and lead efforts that make a real difference. Along the way, they’re building confidence, compassion, and skills they’ll carry with them long after they leave the program.

That’s something worth getting stranded on Jungle Island for.

So please help us find our way out before we become permanent residents. Every dollar gets us a little closer to civilization while helping Hands4Hope continue developing the next generation of compassionate, community-minded leaders.

Please donate. Double your impact. Rescue the Yoffie's.

With gratitude and questionable survival skills,
Shannon & Jon Yoffie
