In June 2027, Harmony Collected Community Choir has the extraordinary honor of traveling to London, England, to sing in the London premiere of American composer Kyle Pederson’s A Vision Unfolding. Some of you may have heard Harmony Collected perform this powerful work in April 2026, or during our invited performance at the Indiana Choral Directors Association Summer Conference.

This invitation is more than a performance opportunity. It is a recognition of who we are, what we are building, and the power of a choir rooted in belonging.

Harmony Collected is not a traditional community choir. While we care deeply about musical excellence, our primary work is creating a space where people are seen, welcomed, and valued. Our rehearsals are more than preparation for a concert. They are a weekly gathering of people choosing community through shared song. We believe every singer brings something meaningful to the room, regardless of background, experience, identity, or income.

That commitment shapes everything we do. Harmony Collected is non-auditioned, open to all, and committed to removing barriers to participation. We offer reduced or waived fees for singers for whom cost would make participation difficult, because belonging should never depend on someone’s ability to pay.

Now, as we prepare to take 40 singers to London, we are asking for your help.

International travel is expensive. Flights, lodging, meals, transportation, and tour costs quickly add up. But your gift does far more than help pay for a plane ticket or hotel room. Your support makes it possible for singers to share in a life-changing experience that many could not access on their own. It helps build community across borders. It allows our singers to represent Indianapolis on an international stage.
