Harmony Sisters was founded on one simple belief:

In a short time, Harmony Sisters has grown into a thriving community where female musicians encourage one another, collaborate, share opportunities, and celebrate each other’s successes. Our mission is to create more opportunities for women in music through community, education, mentorship, and live performance.

This September, we have the opportunity to take that mission to the next level by sponsoring an official Harmony Sisters stage at the Texas Women’s Songwriters Festival in historic downtown Lockhart, Texas.

The Texas Women’s Songwriters Festival is a three-day celebration dedicated to showcasing women songwriters from across Texas through performances, song swaps, educational opportunities, and community events. Our First Goal: Stage Sponsorship

Our first fundraising milestone is $5,000, which covers the cost of becoming an official Stage Sponsor for the festival.

We are proud to share that $1,000 has already been raised, leaving $4,000 remaining to fully fund the sponsorship.

By becoming a Stage Sponsor, Harmony Sisters will help make this incredible festival possible while providing another platform dedicated to amplifying the voices of women in music.

Why our Campaign Goal Is $10,000

While our sponsorship commitment is $5,000, Harmony Sisters’ involvement extends far beyond financial support.

Our goal is to bring a dedicated team of Harmony Sisters volunteers to the festival to serve throughout the weekend. These volunteers will donate their time assisting the Texas Women’s Songwriters Festival with artist hospitality, stage support, event logistics, guest assistance, and other areas where help is needed.

Any funds raised beyond the $5,000 sponsorship goal will be used to support those volunteers while they are serving the festival.

These expenses may include shared lodging, meals, transportation, volunteer supplies, and other direct costs associated with supporting the festival weekend.

By investing in the volunteers who are giving their time, we can provide meaningful support to the Texas Women’s Songwriters Festival while continuing Harmony Sisters’ mission of creating opportunities for women in music.

If We Do Not Reach Our Goal

Transparency is extremely important to us.

If we do not reach the $5,000 sponsorship goal, transparency is very importatn to us. Every dollar raised will still be used exclusively for Harmony Sisters’ participation in the Texas Women’s Songwriters Festival.

Funds will first be applied toward the stage sponsorship. If we are unable to fully fund the sponsorship, donations will instead be used for direct festival-related expenses such as volunteer lodging, transportation, meals, supplies, and other costs directly connected to Harmony Sisters’ participation in supporting the festival.

No donation will be redirected to unrelated expenses.

Accountability is also important, especially in how donations will be used. While actual expenses may vary slightly, this is our projected allocation if we reach our full $10,000 campaign goal.

If we raise less than our goal, funds will be prioritized in the following order:

Over the past year, hundreds of hours have been donated to building Harmony Sisters in organizing showcases, coordinating volunteers, creating promotional materials, fundraising, developing partnerships, communicating with artists, holding meetings and classes/workshops, and managing the countless details required to grow this community.

What began as a series of showcases has grown into something much deeper. Harmony Sisters has become a place where women find collaborators, songwriting partners, trusted friends, and a network of support. We celebrate one another’s victories, share stages instead of competing for them, and when one of our sisters is facing a difficult season, this community rallies around her with kindness, encouragement, and practical help. Those relationships are every bit as important as the music itself.

Following the showcase, Harmony Sisters will publish a financial summary outlining how campaign funds were allocated so that every donor can clearly see the impact of their contribution.
