Come spend a golden autumn afternoon at Mayhurst.

There are few things quite like fall in Virginia—and we would love to share one of its loveliest days with you.

Join us at Mayhurst Estate for our annual Harvest Festival, an afternoon filled with the sights, smells, sounds, and simple pleasures of autumn: apples tumbling into the cider press, apple butter simmering over the fire, music drifting across the lawn, good food, children playing, and the historic house surrounded by the brilliant colors of fall.

Bring your family. Bring your friends. Wander the grounds, stay awhile, eat something wonderful, watch cider being pressed before your eyes, and enjoy an autumn day that feels as though it belongs to another time.

A Day at Mayhurst

Throughout the afternoon, you’ll find some of our favorite harvest traditions happening around the estate, including:

Fresh apple cider pressing
Old-fashioned apple butter making
Live music
Fireside autumn atmosphere
Delicious food available throughout the festival
Time to wander and enjoy the beautiful grounds of Mayhurst
Family-friendly activities and plenty of room for little ones to enjoy the day
Fresh Mayhurst apple butter and cider available for purchase

And perhaps our favorite part of all—simply being together.

There is something wonderfully nostalgic about gathering outside on a crisp fall day, sharing food, making something with your hands, hearing music across the lawn and watching another beautiful Virginia autumn settle over Mayhurst.

Come Make a Memory With Us

Mayhurst was built to be a place of gathering, and some of our happiest days here are the ones when the grounds are full of people.

Whether you’ve visited us many times before or have only followed Mayhurst from afar, this is your invitation to come through the gates and spend the day with us.

Wear your boots. Bring a sweater. Come hungry.

We’ll have the fires going, the cider being pressed and the apple butter bubbling.
