Havelock Food Truck Festival – Frequently Asked Questions & General Vendor Policies

What is the Havelock Food Truck Festival?

The Havelock Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the City of Havelock, proudly hosts the Havelock Food Truck Festival twice each year—in April and November.

Our goal is to bring the community together for a fun, family-friendly event where visitors can enjoy delicious food, shop with local businesses, and experience great entertainment while supporting our local economy.

How many vendors will be accepted?

We are able to accommodate:

34 Food Trucks
60 Retail Vendors
2 Beer Vendors

Vendor spaces are limited and are available on a first-paid, first-served basis.

How do I apply as a Food Truck or Retail Vendor?

Vendor registration and payment must be completed through the Givebutter registration website or in person at the Havelock Chamber of Commerce office. Please submit one application per business. Registration is not considered complete until payment has been received.

BEWARE OF SPAM & FRAUDULENT PAYMENT REQUESTS!

The Havelock Chamber of Commerce wants to remind all vendors and participants to be cautious of spam emails, Facebook messages, and payment requests.

What do vendors need to bring?

Food Truck Vendors

Your food truck and all required equipment
Personal Generator
Fire extinguisher
Table and chairs for customers (optional)

Retail Vendors

10' x 10' tent
Tables and chairs
Tent weights (required)
Generator if electrical power is needed

Will electricity be available?

No. Electricity will not be provided. Vendors requiring power must bring their own generator.

Can I choose my vendor space?

No. Vendor space assignments will be made by the event organizers. This allows us to properly distribute vendors throughout the festival and helps prevent similar food trucks or retail businesses from being clustered together. Your official vendor space assignment will be emailed to you after the event map has been finalized, approximately 1 week prior to the event. We appreciate your patience as we carefully organize the vendor layout to create the best experience for both vendors and attendees.

Are retail vendors able to sell food or beverages at the festival?

To help ensure a successful event and provide a fair opportunity for our food truck vendors, retail vendors and nonprofit organizations are asked not to sell food or beverages during the festival.

If you would like to sell food or drinks, we would love to have you participate as a Food Truck Vendor! Simply complete the Food Truck Vendor application instead of the retail or nonprofit vendor application.

Exception: Bakery and bread vendors are welcome to participate as retail vendors and may sell their baked goods and bread products.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

All registration fees are non-refundable. Once payment has been received, no refunds or credits will be issued for any reason, including vendor cancellations, scheduling conflicts, weather conditions (unless the event is canceled by the organizers without a reschedule), or failure to attend.

Payment Disputes

By submitting your registration and payment, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to all event policies. You also agree not to cancel your payment or initiate a chargeback or payment dispute for charges associated with your approved registration.

Event Reschedule

In the event of severe or hazardous weather, the festival may be rescheduled to Saturday, November 21, 2026. If a reschedule becomes necessary, all registered vendors will be notified as soon as possible. Otherwise, the festival will take place rain or shine.

Photography & Media Release

By registering for the event, you grant the Havelock Chamber of Commerce permission to photograph and record you, your business, employees, products, and booth during the festival.

These photos and videos may be used in future marketing, promotional materials, social media, websites, newsletters, and other publications related to the Havelock Food Truck Festival and the Havelock Chamber of Commerce without additional notice or compensation.
