The Herald’s Health Reporting Initiative keeps you informed about local health and wellness news in Snohomish County.
This journalism project grew out of a need the Herald heard from readers and leaders for more coverage of health equity, mental health, rural healthcare, social and family challenges, homelessness, and substance abuse – and how these issues are impacted by legislation, medical trends and advances, and the lingering effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Our dedicated health reporter, in collaboration with other Herald reporters, seeks to cover these topics and more. Our award-winning journalism often sparks change and sets the agenda for public policy debate, but we need your help.
If you believe that local reporting must play a greater role in providing you with the health and wellness information you and your community need, please donate to the Herald’s Health Reporting Initiative via Local Media Foundation.
