Teresa Perez's Story
Mia was only 7yrs old when she was diagnosed with Leukemia. She was scared to die. I couldn’t honestly tell her she wouldn’t. She did not only have Leukemia, but she had a rare type and was in stage 4. Childhood cancer is poorly underfunded at only 4% going to childhood cancer research. So because of this, funding has to come from the community as well. Our family has lived this nightmare and we understand the importance of advancement in medicine and cures. Mia is raising funds to help children like her. If she is the top donor she will be given the Heart of Gold award. Please join us in spreading childhood cancer awareness and raising funds to truly give each child a fair fight.
