Firebird Holdings is the management company that is designing non-profits to design a shelter system that helps people with more than just housing. The non-profits that are designed for when they are set up will be handed off to local staff, with Leadership managing with the App that is currently in the process of being designed: ShelterNow. ShelterNow is an operations app that is compliant with VAWA standards as in a like HMIS system. With that being said the operations App will be used for team communications, client information to where there will be restricted access to clients information unless the clients approve of the person seeing their information. ShelterNow is being used to hold staff accountable with actual metrics that need to be tracked: Has someone showered, has someone eaten, does this person have a bed. With that information being in mind, Staff will be able to make sure that the people who need to shower, have access to that, without having to wait for Staff to do it when they feel like it. ShelterNow will then be used to hopefully provide metrics that has been grossly misrepresented to be able to provide Data that is accurate for funding to be determined.

Hearthside is being designed to help everyone from all walks of life to include everyone in all of the programs, including housing, transportation, workforce training.

Along side the development of ShelterNow, Hearthside is being the first nonprofit that is being developed using the Firebird Stabilization Model, that operates under that everyone is able to learn emotional education. The Firebird Stabilization model will include four phases: Stabilization, Emotional Education, Core Skills, Independence. During this, another concept will be taught to clients for them to understand themselves: Everyone is a witness and everyone is a judge. That being said the Witness is the internal voice and the Judge is the person who Judges actions that the Witness has done. The goal is to be able to help clients identify their identity. That being said, another concept that staff and teachings will be based on: The information the organizations provide is just information, it is up to the client to judge the information and determine if the information aligns with their beliefs, that can help their thoughts, that can change their emotions, that can change their feelings, and change their actions. Staff will never force views down anyones throat.

The fundraising that is being done is done by Danielle Martin, she is the Founder of Firebird Holdings and Hearthside.

The fundraising that is being done is to start the process of App development for ShelterNow, to be able to provide the funds to purchase the building / lease a building and to provide the finances to get everything officially filled under nonprofit status. Hearthside is going to be operating under the idea of, when the business has it's bills taken care of the extra money, once The Shelter is set up, the extra money will go back to clients, in either helping someone pay their car payment, being able to afford a meal, pay for insurance, pay for a tank of gas, pay for a car payment and pay for rent, without having to go through red tape and try to beg to prove that they are worthy of the help. The extra money will be used to better clients lives, without expectations of the client paying the Organization something for the Organization to do their job.

Another thing that Firebird Holdings is doing is that they have set up a signal channel anyone can join, that will show the business communication going on between staff and leadership to make business decisions. The purpose of this is to model open communication between staff when it comes to decisions that affect everyone.
