On Wednesday, July 9 2025, the Fountain Heights community came together to celebrate the groundbreaking of the Heart of the Farm (HOTF) grocery store, a new neighborhood market and community kitchen led by Fountain Heights Farms Cooperative. The project is designed to provide fresh produce, homegrown opportunity, and local connection—ensuring every family has access to food and a space to thrive. The new initiative will serve over 3,000 residents in the neighborhood and provide local farmers and food producers with space to store, prepare and sell their goods.
