Imagine being a 14-year-old girl who loves school but misses several days of class every month simply because you do not have access to menstrual products.

For millions of girls across Africa, this is a reality. When a girl cannot manage her period safely and with dignity, she often misses lessons, falls behind in her studies, loses confidence, and faces a greater risk of dropping out of school altogether.

At Kushamiri Africa Foundation, we believe that no girl should lose her education because of her period.

That is why we are launching the Period Dignity Initiative to help keep 1,000 girls in school by providing reusable sanitary pads, menstrual health education, and community awareness programs that break the stigma surrounding menstruation.

Our goal is simple: ensure that every girl can attend school with confidence, dignity, and the opportunity to reach her full potential.
