They Survived the Flood. Now Let's Help Them Come Home.

In July, Billy and Letitia Lowther and their family nearly lost their lives in terrifying flash floods in Weston, West Virginia.

As floodwaters rapidly surrounded their home, Letitia struggled through chest-deep water carrying a neighbor's one-year-old baby, with her 16-year-old daughter beside her.

"Mommy, I don't think we're gonna make it," her daughter cried.

Billy fought through the raging water to rescue them, then returned to help save neighbors and pets trapped by the flooding.

Everyone survived. Their home did not.

The flood destroyed their home and countless possessions, including treasured family keepsakes. Since July, Billy and Letitia have been living in a donated camper, making do with temporary accommodations and a makeshift outdoor shower. They received no insurance or FEMA funds to replace their home.

Now, we have an opportunity to help give this family a new beginning.

This November, Fuller Center Disaster ReBuilders volunteers are coming together for a special blitz build to construct a new home for Billy and Letitia on land that has been in Billy's family for generations.

Our volunteers are giving their time and labor, but we need financial support to cover the cost of construction.

Will you help us build Billy and Letitia's new home?

Every gift, large or small, will help turn this family's devastating loss into a new beginning.

They survived the flood. Together, we can help them come home.

Thank you, and may God bless you!
