I’m free! Now I need help with the next steps.

Hi, I’m Chucho. I’m about 7 years old, a Malamute mix, and—until recently—a very dedicated solo field-trip enthusiast. Target, Starbucks… I may have overdone the independent-adventurer thing. 😂

Now I’m safe in a private home with a trusted professional who’s helping Woof Tribe understand what I need to feel secure and succeed. I have a long road ahead. My coat is in rough shape, I need veterinary care, and my behavior will need thoughtful evaluation. I may need professional training before I’m ready for my forever home.

Woof Tribe wants to give me the time, support, and care I need. Here is the current estimated cost:

Specialized local transport: $200
Neuter with handling precautions: $750
Specialized boarding: $35 × 21 days = $735
Certificate of Veterinary Inspection: $250
Long-distance transport: $750

Estimated initial costs: $2,685

Depending on what my evaluation shows, I may also need:

Professional behavioral training: up to $2,500
Specialized transporter training: $500, if needed

Potential total of currently estimated costs: up to $5,685.

That amount does not include grooming or any additional veterinary needs that may be identified when I’m examined. We’ll share updates as we learn more and get actual estimates.

I’m not a simple case, and nobody can promise exactly how much support I’ll need. Woof Tribe is committed to being honest about my progress and making a plan that puts my safety and success first.

If you pledged for me, please honor your pledge through this campaign. If you didn’t pledge, please consider donating toward my care. Every contribution helps give me a real chance to reach the right home.

I’m free, I’m getting help, and I’m ready to start this next chapter. I promise I’ll do my best to stay out of Target and Starbucks—unless my sweet friend Danna is taking me. Then I’m absolutely ordering a pup cup. ❤️🐺
