Step into Refugio de Vida Silvestre Bocas del Polochic in Guatemala and you can see what Ocean Education Initiative makes possible: a free, immersive field experience that brings students close to a real wetland and the people working there.

Bocas is live now. It is proof of what we can make together, and a starting point for what comes next.

Creating these experiences takes time in the field with scientists and conservation partners. It takes cameras, sound, travel, editing, and careful work to turn what we learn into a story students can explore. We want teachers to be able to share that experience without charging their classrooms.

Your gift helps OEI create the next field experience and keep our educational work freely accessible. Choose an amount that feels right to you. At some one-time levels, we can send a small OEI thank-you. You are always welcome to decline it and direct your entire gift to the work.

The field trip is free. Making it isn’t. Help us take students into the next story science has to tell.
