Curry Ridge Riders has grown tremendously to provide the kind of public service necessary you have come to expect of us and for the future of the South Denali Winter Trails!

Founded in 1996 as a 501c4 to advocate a need and volunteerism to maintain these trails across Borough and State public lands, we have grown into a 501c3 purchasing the vehicles, snow-groomer drags, tools and trail clearing and debris removal machines to do the job right. Fast forward to today, our heroic effort to provide a service fleet that of four completely rebuilt and working snowcats, three snow-grooming drags and an SUV with it's own smaller grooming drag.

But we need a place to store and work on these machines stepping up to the requirement for the public good and to wit last year the MatSu Borough afforded a Conditional Use Permit for 100X200' gravel pad for Curry Ridge Riders north of Trapper Creek. We pulled a rabbit out of a hat in 2026 successfully constructing a basic maintenance enclosure utilizing connex bases adding trusses with roof and end walls with doors. All on own our own dime from the money we squirreled away but there's still alot needed and that's where you come in. More than ever, won't you please open your wallets & picketbooks and let the snowtrail-moths out?

There's still much needed to make the enclosure complete and habitable to perform shop work....doors, windows, electric hookups with lights, heaters, eyewash stations and first aid and much more. Your donations are whats going to finish this new headquarters so we can humanly perform the essential equipment maintenance and repair throughout the season. Take the ball and run with it now, won't you? The season is upon us closing in fast.
